Welcome to Pete's Fan Photos(Updated 5th February 2012) Photos from the Dr Who Symphony in Melbourne (Plenary) with the MSO are online. This was a fantastic night - if you weren't there you really missed out on something special! This site contains many many photos from events I've attended purely as a fan over the years, holiday shots, and special events with friends. Those of you who have followed this site will notice that I've put back MANY photos from old events that I had to remove previously for space reasons (my new host has a far more generous allowance!) All images on this site are freely available for your personal use, but please note that I retain copyright. If you want more information please contact me. If you like this site, you may find my others interesting too. They include: First Contact Photos, Armageddon Photos, and Castle Photography As you can tell, this site is pretty much a clone of my old layout. A complete overhaul will be done by the end of the year, to refresh the layout, presentation and indexing of all photos, but also to support downloading of hi-res copies of photos. As usual please email me if I spelt your name wrong, or if you can tell me the names of people in any photos. To contact me, send an email to: . Or ring anytime in the afternoon or evening on (+61 3) 9885 5184 |

| 4th February 2012 - at the Plenary theatre (part of the new Melbourne Convention Centre). The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra played music from the new Dr Who TV series, MC'd by Mark Sheppard, with a lot of special guests! | ||||
| William Shatner: Kirk Crane and Beyond William Shatner (Captain Kirk - Star Trek, Denny Crane - Boston Legal, and many more!) talked his way through a series of concerts in Brisbane. Sydney and Melbourne this month. The event was conducted interview style, including a number of video clips and a live performance by Bill of a "song' specifically created for the Aussie tour. We got to hear a lot more about his life and work including personal details about the events leading up to his previous wife tragic death, and how he met his current wife Elizabeth tat I hadn't heard before. And of course there was a lot about Trek, Denny Crane, his new musical career and more!

| Star Trek Movie World Premier at the Sydney Opera House We watched the guests all arrive and walk the red carpet (getting what autographs and photos one is able under such conditions), then walked the carpet ourselves to enter the premier in the changed Concert Hall, which was remodelled into a superb cinema for the night.

| Not much there for me personally this year, as they had several guest cancellations and a last minute camera policy which defied belief... However Katee Sackoff (Starbuck, the new BSG) was a delight, and Richard Hatch is cool as always… | ||||
